Fantastic Fitness, Inc. is a multifaceted personal training business offering personal training, weight training equipment, and business opportunities for fitness entrepreneurs and personal trainers.


Fantastic Fitness Inc. is basically a personal training business aggressively striving to be number one in fitness services. We currently offer personal training services, weight training equipment, in particular the Ultimate Squat Machine and business opportunities for personal trainers and fitness entrepreneurs. The expansion of the personal training business into these new areas has begun late in 2004 and the initial results are very encouraging. In addition, the Fantastic Fitness Weight Training Program, which was developed by Mark Russo, President of Fantastic Fitness, Inc., is offered in VHS, DVD and book formats. This program is unique, effective and significantly reduces the time spent in the gym. This is a key issue for busy people. In addition, Fantastic Fitness, Inc. is offering Sheryl Blystone's new book, Miss Muscles Meals on the internet. This is a great book for those that want to have real tasty choices for dietary concerns. We are dedicated to making the benefits of fitness in the physical, mental and spiritual form available to all those seeking to improve their lives. We have not limited our approach and will not be restricted in the methods we use to achieve these goals. Our philosophy is that "Against All Odds" you can succeed.
Mark's new personal training business, located at 8620 Market St. in Boardman, has been the result of years of hard work and he is so very proud of it. Mark is dedicated to making his personal training business the best fitness company in the industry.


Owning a personal training business has been my obsession for years.


I have been studying all aspects of personal training for more than 10 years. I attended Youngstown State University for 4 years majoring in Exercise Science. During this time I continued to work constantly on weight training and personal training issues. Due to demand for my personal training business services, I decided to start my own personal training business. This was the best decision I have made in my life. I really enjoy helping my clients develop improved bodies and super confidence. The personal training business has grown tremendously since I opened by own personal training facility.
I received my personal training certification from the National Academy for Health and Fitness and I am a member of IDEA, the premier organization of fitness professionals.


I have worked with clients from 15 to 84 years of age, both male and female. In fact, I have about an even split between male and female clients. These clients have had a wide range of goals including: 1) weight loss 2) weight gain 3) body toning 4) strength improvement 5) sports specific programs etc. In each case I have designed a customized fitness program that allows goals to be met without wasted effort. These programs have been designed based on the Fantastic Fitness Weight Training Program, which I developed and feel is the best available, and my ability to understand motivational issues. The grouping of exercises to allow successive working and resting of muscle groups during each week is critical to the success of the program I developed. In addition, proper form and stretching during the workout sessions is extremely important.The Fantastic FitnessTM program developed during 10 years of study is unique in the personal training field. It is the basis on which my personal training business is built.

hese proven techniques are shown in the video, DVD, and in the book, "Creating a Dynamite Body". These techniques are proven to save substantial time in the gym. The main philosophy that I adhere to and expect from my clients is that of drug-free training. Hard training, good nutrition and no drugs is the only way. Using this approach I was fortunate to recently win a second place for dead-lifting at the Medina, OH USAPL Sanctioned Drug-Free competition in the 198lb. Division. At 186 lbs. I successfully dead lifted 560 lbs. Believe me, that is a load! My techniques work weight loss, body toning and strength improvement! Recently I was able to do 5 reps with 500lbs. and look forward to some competitive events during the summer of 2000. On the Ultimate Squat Machine I was able to perform a squat of 900 lb.

The very important stretches are shown on the tape and DVD for each day of exercise. These are essential making your workouts efficient and minimizing risk of injury. Repetitions start at 15 for females and then are changed after the entire four days are completed.Only three workouts are performed in one week. The fourth of the initial cycle is done the next week. The schedule is followed in this manner. Men start at 10 repetitions. There are 4 levels of reps in the entire schedule. The book, "Creating a Dynamite Body" explains my fitness philosophy in detail and includes color photos of proper procedures for all exercises.


Aerobics are a key component of the Fantastic Fitness Program.


Aerobic training is the foundation on which we must build. Aerobic, i.e. with oxygen, allows the heart and circulatory systems to become well tuned and strong. Just as a car cannot go far without a well tuned engine, so too a human body will not progress to good fitness without a strong heart and circulatory system.

Many good texts have been written concerning aerobic fitness. It all boils down to getting your heart rate up to the training level and maintaining exercise at this level for at least 20 minutes. If you are trying to be a super athlete, more time will be required. For the person wanting to get into good health, this is usually enough when done at least three times per week. The exercises can consist of walking, running, jogging, cycling, stepping, bicycling, and stationary cycling, etc. It depends on what you like to do. Whatever it is, the heart must be worked at a sufficient level so that improvement of function occurs.

In my program, I incorporate an aerobic plan so that improvement occurs. I will guide your progress and you will see results. I will give you a hard copy of age adjusted heart rates to achieve the training effect. This will give you a guideline for your aerobic training.



The Fantastic Fitness weight training approach is the best the industry has to offer.


Once the heart is strengthened with aerobic training, the rest of the body must be conditioned using strength techniques. There are as many theories and programs for strength training as there are trainers – and I have used many of them. Many of these programs have resulted in much effort and little gain. Many of them drained most of my energy so that I had barely any left to do daily tasks. Some left me with sore and tired muscles, which were not effective in doing much of anything. Many programs touted the approach that if a little is good, a whole lot is better. Most ignore the vital link with diet. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!

The best procedure I have found is to allow each muscle group to be worked only once a week taxing it completely and then allowing it to rest and repair. The million dollar question is "How do you do that"? Most programs tend to overtrain you, leaving you tired, sore and disgusted. My personal training business techniques allow muscle groups to be sufficiently taxed and to repair completely. I understand how to design a program efficiently so there is no wasted effort. I will treat you with the same respect and enthusiasm as I treat each and every client. The program will work for you if you honestly follow it.
